‘Thee Jenerators!’Mr Risk himself, Mark Le Gallez is back with this Mod/Garage 5 piece beat combo, who are currently gigging around London & have released this 3 track CD single through Biff Bang Pow. The title track, "Who the Hell`s Frank Wilson", Shouts n` Screams out of the speakers with a Funky Soul inspired gritty garage riff, try staying still while you listen to this! funnily enough all I can think of is, The Risk`s "Ambition"!, following directly is the equally fast & furious paced , "Shake Some Action", again shades of The Risk shine through again! though I may add thats no bad thing! The 3rd track on the CD is "Gotta Go", with an excellent Punky Garage riff with Le Gallez sounding oh so 80`s again! superb stuff from The Jenerators. Although I may have tinted the rebirth of the Le Gallez sound ever so slightly with this retro sounding review as my heads stuck in the Mod Revival period at the best of times, I`ll never forget the sound of The Risk & equally I won`t forget the sound of now from The Jenerators either.
