Detour Records are proud to announce their latest release on the ‘Paisley Archive’ label.
Considered & recorded my major record companies (Arista, Virgin, London, Polydor, Magnet), this music somehow slipped between the cracks. Talked up as the "Pop alternative to Talk Talk", "the next Squeeze", "Buzzcocks with harmonies", "Small Faces for the Eighties", "A taste of New Psychedelia", Producers, Photographers, and Stylists were all commissioned. The Heartbeats developed their unique sound and style. ‘Paul Weller’ prompted and promoted the re-release of the 60's album by ‘The Action’, hailing them as one of the "lost bands of the 60's", and the album as a hidden gem.
