     At long last …. We are proud to announce the much talked about Silent Noise recorded output.

After the demise of Norwich’s first Punk Band The Toads in 1978, some of the band re-grouped and formed Silent Noise. Very similar sounding to The Toads but this time the band had songs with actual tunes and outstanding lyrics. Dave Smith, the bands songwriter drew on his experiences in life and put pen to paper and unleashed some mighty memorable tracks.

Sadly the band only lasted two years and in this time they released the highly collectable and classic Power-pop 45 “I’ve Been Hurt (So Many Times Before)” backed with “Heart To Heart” on the bands own “Easy” label in a pressing of only 1000 copies in 1979. Nowadays, this single is now so collectable it fetches £100+ on the collectors market.. (ie eBAY)

This retrospective release features both sides of their rare single, plus 15 unreleased tracks that have been salvaged from old cassettes etc and brought back to life by the digital age with much love.

All tracks recorded between 1978 - 1980.
