 Detour Records are proud to announce their latest release on the ‘Paisley Archive’ label.

Hailing from Guernsey in the Channel Isles this band shouldn’t need any introduction as they were one of the leading main lights on the 80s Mod Scene.

  In their well established career, the band released one 7” single, one 12” single and five studio albums and their singer ‘Mark Le Gallez’  even released a solo album. We are pleased to say that ‘Paisley Archive’ will be releasing Mark’s solo album in a few months time, as well as the next three Risk albums in the series to bring them up to date with their current CD album ‘Songs From The Big Tomato’.

Originally released way back in 1987 on the ‘Unicorn’ label, Loud Shirts & Stripes was an instant hit within the scene!

For the first time on CD, this long lost Mod / Powerpop album has been given a new lease of life which features sleeve notes by the bands most loyal fan ‘Derek Shepherd’ who used to write the leading Modzine in the 80s ‘In The Crowd’ and rare unseen photos across this set of four forthcoming releases.
