EUROVOX—This Is … Originally released back In 2005 on the ‘Saville Row’ label out of Arizona, USA. This smartly dressed Mod Trio that hail from Phoenix, USA tick all the right boxes released this classic debut 12 track album on their friends / Au Fait Label owner ‘Robbie Watson’. Robbie himself has plenty of pedigree behind him as he has been in bands all his life. One of his earliest bands was the Moddy-Punk band ‘The Speedometers’ who released a couple of singles and an album in the late 70s. After moving to the States he has kept up his love for music and has tried to steer up and coming hopefuls around the tempestuous waters of the music industry that is full of sharks! In this album you can hear all the bands influences that range from the 60s with the likes of The Who, The Kinks, The Small Faces & the Motown Sound. Add that to the mixture of the late 70s Punk / Mod explosion WITH the likes of The Buzzcocks, The Vapors and The Jam ….. AND what you hear is EUROVOX!!!!
